Run Club

What?

Our 10-week couch to 5k run club combines expert coaching, tailored sessions, and a supportive community to help you build up to running a 5k. We offer expert tips on technique, pacing, and mindset for beginners and are adaptable to your fitness level - walk, jog or run at your own pace. We can also advise on stretching, injury prevention, strength training as well as maintaining a healthy routine.

Together, we’ll break down barriers, focus on gradual progression and have fun along the way.

We’ll end the programme by completing a parkrun, where you’ll celebrate your achievement with a supportive community by your side!

Programme Details

  • Duration: 10 weeks (Starting 1st May)

  • Location: Down Grange Sports Complex

  • When: Saturday @ 9am

  • Sessions: Weekly group runs/sessions tailored to gradually build endurance and running ability.

  • Final Goal: Completing a local parkrun together as a team!
